No words to explain...

Okay.. I am officially back after my 'sabbatical' ;) haha! These past few months have been so so busy that I just haven't had the time to blog, bluh.

So here's a quick recap:
So, I finally reached India in time for my sisters wedding! And boy, was I glad! India was the BESTEST. It was just SO much fun! .. my entire family all under the same roof, fun was inevitable! And I'm also glad that everything went as smooth as a smoothie ;) ..

Whilst my visit to India, I thought that it was the best time to do abit of touring, so I visited many world known monuments, such as the Taj Mahal, and the beautiful Golden Temple.. Out of the many, and yes I do mean many, times that I have visited India.. I gotta say that this year ranked top place.

The entire process of my sister getting married, has been so so magical. It has brought me and my family so much closer, and made so many people happier.. My grandma got to stay with her sisters after 40years.. My dad met his long lost cousins.. And I, well I just laughed all the more ;)

I heard that the Royal wedding are expecting 2000+ guests to attend... Well anyone that's been to an Indian Wedding, would know that - that's just standard ;) haha!

This whole 'thing' has been a bit of a learning curve for me, as well as an experience.. I now know that family is very very very important, and that family always comes first.. The respect for my sister has overgrown! I love her so much, and she's someone I look upto and truly admire. She's the big sister, that every little sister dreams of having. And even though that she is now married, she will ALWAYS remain the funny, gorgeous, and should I say, a little intellegent, sister that I love! xxxx

2011

Where have the holidays gone?
The looming threat of exams are fast fast approching! With ever-increasing workloads, pressures and constraints.. I feel it is fair to say that I am P-ing my pants... Not for the exams, but in fact why I am not stressed for the exams??! It seems so strange that 2weeks have just flown by and I have done 3days of solid revision at most. What the hell.

Exams are in two weeks, and all I can now do is pray and work I guess.

Also.. COLLEGE TOMMOROW - NOOOOOO :(((((((

All the horrors of traveling will be back tommorow! Don't get me wrong - I do LOVE college.. if only it was closer! Anywho - my JP is on pending! Toodles xoxo

:-(((

Why am I SO stupid?!

I got back from college today, and thought I deserved a nice cup of tea! So I got my tea and (whilst mum was out) sneaked it into the living room.. So there I was sitting on the sofa, sipping my tea watching t.v - Sofalizing basically.. And i get a text.. So i text back and what happens?!

I DROP MY PHONE IN MY CUP OF TEA!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(((((((((((

I am SO devastated!!! This is just ridic...
I am hopeing if I leave in on the heaters for a couple of hours, the tea shall evaporate.. I hope.
If not - Then i guess i am luckyyy 'cause the phone is on contract, so it can easily be fixed.. but its all TIME CONSUMING!

Argh! It looks like I'm gonna have the monday blues.. all week!

What makes you special..

It's been a pretty tough week to be fair.. I've gotta say, that it's gotta be one of the worst weeks so far! Firstly, the weather is beyond sh*t - even by British standards and secondly, the miserable ambience outdoors makes you feel miserable indoors!! So, since I've not been able to do much I've just been thinking. Don't you find it quite interesting how some people can move on so quickly? And some people can be sooo similar to you - yet so much different!? And how time changes EVERYTHING! No matter how hard we try to maintain changes, they are unevitable.. I guess changes are good though.. Gives us somethin' new ta breathhh.

It's a horrible feeling knowing that there's this thing want, which you know is i m possible to attain!!! But heyyyyyyyyyyy! There is NO time to be upset! So let us be cheerfull! Christmass is soon! I love the festive season! I love all the family gatherings and surprises! It just puts me exactly where I wish to be :-))))) xxxxxxxxxxxx

Tiredness killlllss..

Happiness is the feeling you get when you arrive home from college, realising it's a Friday and that you now have 2 whole days off!!! :-))))))))

I know that I haven't blogged in a while bloggers, but its due to the simple concept of tiredness! I think with the cold months fast approaching, and so much work to do for the sisters wedding, I feel as if I've just been overwhelmed!! If it isn't family, it's friends, if it isn't friends its facebook! I am acctually struggling to keeep up with it all!

So, my plan here is to give you a quick summery of my past week..
Tedious. One thing which i have never been able to fully understand is the idea of people falsley comitting themselves to another person at a point in life where they hardly matter!! It's just pathetic. This week, I've broken ties with an old childhood bestie.."bestie" is questionable at this moment in time? But to be perfeclty fair, I AM FINE! I feel great.. Nothings changed.. And i'll have to admit I enjoy devoting time to myself rather than others!

Anywaysssssss.. It's a friday night, and i have NO plans?!?!?!?! What a 'kuffafel' ...

Dehli 2010 - Proud host of the CWG!

Today, it is actually all about India! Delhi are the proud hosts of this years Commonwealth games! Less than 2 weeks ago, India were about to make a mockery of themselves! In less than a week they managed to turn the tables, and make the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth games an amazing one to remember!
However, even though I wasn't fortunate enough to be present in Delhi for the event itself, I was pretty much comfortable on my couch with coffee and crisps tuned in @BBC 1 - Live!
Moments like this I realise even more how much I feel the deepest connection with my Ancestral Country...may have been born here in the UK but something stronger inside pulls me to India/my Indianess.

Did anyone else notice, how all the country's competitors were coming out with elegance and grace.. England came out and I see guys pulling their tongue out at the camera like they're on a night out in Blackpool.. oh dear o dear..

And my highlight of the opening ceremony... those amazingly beautiful saris...

One thing which was annoying, was Prince Charles! While everyone else is watching, Charles and Camilla were chatting to each other non stop so far.. anyone told them where they are... :-))

The colours, the music, the spirituality, the passion, the love, the culture..what we saw on our screens this evening makes me feel so proud to be Indian so proud.. it's beautiful xxx
